Garden of Stone There's a child in a garden
playing with statues
behind closed walls
all alone.

And he can't quite remember
how it was that he got there
nor why he calls it
his home.

Though their touch can be quite hard
and their words can be so cold
he keeps playing
in gardens of stone.

And its not that they're really
the best friends to play with,
its just that he feels
so alone.

But he's hoping that one day
they'll remember how to play
and that they're really
not all made of stone.

But in waiting for that day
he'll keep playing with statues..
playing with statues...
playing in his garden of stone.
